My Favorite Covers of 2011

This year was full of incredible books, lovely covers, and breathtaking stories. So I decided to share with all of you my favorites of 2011. Enjoy!

My favorite covers of 2011

The first thing we see is the cover. Sometimes we buy books just depending if we like it or not. Sometimes it trick us… Covers aren't the most important thing in a book… but I must admit that I don't care… : ) I love gorgeous, lovely and shiny covers…

1. Across the Universe by Beth Revis.
When I saw this cover for first time, wow… I was amazed, not only the cover was wonderful but the story looked so good…the only thing I could think was in this book; "I need to buy it NOW! I want to read it NOW!"

2. Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel
It doesn't matter if it's US cover or UK cover… I love both. But… If I need to choose only one… well… My favorite is… US? UK? US?… no… UK! No way! I don't know… T.T

3.  Everblue by Brenda Pandos
I love the colors of this cover… her red hair and the blue of the water… so lovely, so peaceful.

4. Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick
If you have read the first two books, this one is a must read. I haven't read it yet… (yes, kill me now) but I don't need to read it to see that the cover is incredible. It continues with the same style that the first two, but it's at the same time, breathtaking and unique.

5. Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake.
Ok, this cover is sooo lovely that when I saw it for first time I was a little bit scared… ahaha! Just kidding! Even thought it can look a little bit creepy, I just like it. Her dress, her hair, the mysterious house, the lovely title… and the blood… and of course, if you read the blurb you will find out that this cover has a lot to do with the plot. I love covers that represent what you're going to read, and this is one of those.

6.  Dead Rules by Randy Russell.
I can't say exactly what I like about this cover. Her big eyes? Or the make up? Or just because she seems a little bit dead? And the title… Dead Rules!

7. Hourglass by Myra McEntire
I didn't like this cover at the beginning… or that is what I thought… Arrg! I don't know! But hey! The book has an amazing cover in person… so shiny… and so different… the picture is just awesome…

8. Passion by Lauren Kate
I have read not so good comments about this cover, but hey! I like it!

9. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
I just love this cover… it's so realistic, if you know what I mean. : D

10. Bumped by Megan McCafferty
It's simple and very different from the rest.
